Unfortunately, no local musicians won a 10th Annual Canadian Folk Award. The kudos were handed out in Ottawa at the end of November. Matt Andersen whose current album, Weightless features co-writes from Hamilton's Tom Wilson and Niagara's Suzie Vinnick got the nod for Contemporary Singer of the Year.
