Two amazing St. Catharines performers took brought home SOCAN Awards! Country superstar Tim Hicks and international sensation Dallas Green (aka City and Colour) both won hardware during the 26th annual awards ceremony on June 22, 2015. Dallas received the National Achievement Award and Tim won a Country Music Award for his song Got A Feeling.

Also, Oshawa's Mars Bonfire, the writer of the classic Born to Wild (most famously sung by Waterloo's John Kay with his band Steppenwolf) was recognized with the Cultural Impact Award.
