Hamilton-born musician Ben Caplan is making quite a habit of winning The East Coast Music Awards. On April 27, he earned another one - this time for Songwriter of the Year.
Here is what he had to say on social media: "Wow! I am honoured to have just won the East Coast Music Association (ECMA) Award for Songwriter of the Year! I am grateful for this recognition from my community! Thank you!"

The big winner of the night was rapper Classified, who received 3 awards. Double-award winners include Lennie Gallant, Ria Mae, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire and Scott Macmillan.
