CONGRATS! Guelph's Trevor Dick Band Earns 2 Global Music Awards


On December 2015, the world music community has recognized Guelph group the Trevor Dick Band with two Global Music Awards (Best Album, Best Band).  They competed with many other performers from around the world.

According to the awards website, the GMA's "...are on a quest to find the world's best new music and to honor and promote the artists. Global Music Awards is a showcase for original music, unique voices and emerging artists. Musicians who win Global Music Awards are in select group of the world’s most talented artists."

Canadians who earned a Silver Medal for Outstanding Achievement  include Toronto artists Bill McBirnie and Daniela Nardi, Alberta's Johnny Summers and Roger Scannura,

Bronze Medals also went to two Canadians: Javier Asencio and Marc Beaudin.
