Hamilton's Dave Waco Passes

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Hamilton musician, David Washnuk aka Dave Waco. Visitation and cremation have happened already. Our condolences to his family, friends and fans.

Here is the obituary:

WASHNUK, David (Dave Waco) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dave Washnuk on August 13, 2019 in his 74th year. Loving father of Jason (Alison), Dave (Suzette), Tammi, Deneil, Shalena, and Rosie. Dear grandfather of two grandchildren. Survived by his brother Ed and sister Olivia. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Dave was a car enthusiast who loved organizing car shows at Hutch's and the Grimsby Welcome Centre. He was a musician who played in many bands and travelled around a lot entertaining people. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. On-line condolences can be made at www.dermodys.com

Here is some of the social media reaction (we will post more as we find them):
