Recently, local Celtic trio (Ruth Sutherland, Bob Worrall, Doug Feaver) Scantily Plaid, released their latest disc, This One's for You.
This album is not your typical Celtic collection. It has more than your usual fiddles and bagpipes. Many of the tunes can be quite funky (Maui Medley, Big Jigs), and the tracks that Doug sings have a great folky feel to them (Ride the Wild Horses plus a cover of George Harrison's Here Comes The Sun).
Ruth's harp playing and angelic voice along with Bob's talented instrumentation and vocals add a wonderful flavour to whole collection as well. Highlights include Caledonia, Tha mi sgith (ha me ski), and a few traditional Celtic instrumentals.
The CD is available at their shows, Doug's solo shows, and through mail order.

Below are a few live performances of the songs from the CD.
