GOOD LUCK! Ginger St. James w Snowheel Slim and FOG Blues & Brass Band to Represent Area in International Blues Challenge



On Sunday, October 29, 2019 the Grand River Blues Society held a competition at Bobby O'Brien's in Kitchener to see who would represent the area at the 2020  International Blues Challenge in Memphis on Jan. 28 – Feb. 1. Seven acts vied for the honour and the winners were Hamilton's  Ginger St. James with Snowheel Slim (solo/duo category) and the FOG Blues and Brass Band from Kitchener (group category)

CONGRATS! Cambridge's The Reklaws Bring Home 2 Canadian Country Music Awards


Cambridge Country duo, the Reklaws, made their hometown proud after picking up two Canadian Country Music Awards on September 8, 2019 in Calgary, AB. They won for Album of the Year (Feels Like That) and Top Selling Canadian Single of the Year (Long Live The Night).

Ben Knechtel, their video director also earned some hardware (Video Director of the Year). He also directed The Worst Kindfeaturing St. Catharines superstar Tim Hicks and Lindsay Ell

    Our first concert is coming up very soon and many people have been calling for individual tickets for certain concerts. They go on sale Tuesday Sept. 3rd.
    Only 25 tickets will be available for each show so don't delay.

    Sat. Sept. 21:   Lynne Hanson  $23 advance + HST
    Sat. Nov. 23:   Wayne Krawchuk and his Pine Street Gentlemen   $22 advance + HST
    Sat. Jan. 25:   Madison Violet   $32 advance + HST
    Sat. Mar. 28:   Nathan Rogers   $23 advance + HST

    Call the Carnegie Gallery at 905-627-4265 to make your purchase. Or stop by in person.  Your name will be added to the guest list for the show. All you have to do is identify yourself at the door.

    Also we still have only 6 subscriptions remaining for all 4 concerts.  $92 + HST   If you can't make it to one of the shows, they are transferable.  Subscribers get preferred seating closer to the stage.
