St. Catharines country star Tim Hicks continued his winning ways (he already has a Canadian Radio Music Award) by being named Best Male Artist. Waterloo's Western Swing Authority brought home the trophy for Best Roots Artist or Group. Burlington boy Tebey (along with Jason Barry) won Record Producer of the Year for his release, the Wait.
