Hamilton actress Kathleen Munroe (CSI: NY, Stargate: Universe, Flashpoint, Resurrection) can now add the job title of singer/songwriter to her impressive resume. Performing as simply Munroe, the local lady has released a beautiful self-titled EP (released through Hidden Pony Records)
Munroe's voice is truly haunting, which fits the ghost-like atmosphere of the recording. Her voice really shines thanks to the sparse, artistic arrangements. Deeply rooted in Americana, the EP is nonetheless very modern in its approach.
Helping her with the music is a wonderful team of performers including Noah Fralick (Young Rival), Ben Munoz (New Hands), Julie Fader, Billy Holmes (Dark Mean) and Steve McKay.
