Juno Award Winners

On Sunday, March 29th, the Junos were handed out.

Unfortunately, Fred Eaglesmith and Kathleen Edwards didn't receive any of the little statues.

Edwards was in the spotlight when she arrived with and performed with superstar, Bryan Adams. (See picture on left)

Also, local boy Daniel Lanois won for Producer of the Year for his CD, "Here is What Is". Congratulations.

Mel Brown 1939-2009 R.I.P.

Canadian Blues legend, Mel Brown passed away on March 20, 2009.

He  received an honourable mention at a recent session of the House of Commons.

Harold Albrecht member of parliment for Kitchener/Waterloo - Conestoga discussed Mel's influence on the local music scene and his incredible work.
