Rockwood's Ian Reid Displays Great Songwriting Skills on 'Hawkstripe'
Hawkstripe, the newest album from Rockwood's Ian Reid displays his great songwriting skills. His mischievous sense of humour shines on a few tracks and he also know how to craft a wonderful musical story as well.
This is all done with beautiful, sparse arrangements with just his expressive voice and a only a few instruments (uke and acoustic guitar mainly). Ian's able to captivate listeners with his enchanting, straightforward folk style.
You can pick up a CD at his fabulous live shows (or by contacting Ian via his site) and also download the album using iTunes or cdbaby.
