Winners of the 2025 East Coast Music Awards

The East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference (May 7-11, 2025) ended in a number of talented Eastern Canadian artists earning accolades in St. Johns, NFLD. This included Nova Scotia's Old Man Luedecke, a musician signed to Waterdown's True North Records.

East Coast Music Award Winners Including an Album with Vineland's Suzie Vinnick


The 2024 East Coast Music Award winner were announced at an amazing festival in Charlottetown, PE from May 1 - 5, 2024. International Roots & Blues Kitchen Party, an album featuring East Coast musician Charlie A'Court with Vineland's Suzie Vinnick and Australian Llyod Spiegel won in the Blues Recording of the Year category.

CONGRATS! Album with Local Guest Stars Wins 2020 East Coast Music Award + Complete Winners


On July 10, 2020, the un-televised pre-awards show for the 2020 East Coast Music Awards announced the first batch of winners. Myles Goodwyn and Friends of the Blues 2, an amazing album starring the April Wine frontman, took home the top prize for Blues Recording of the Year. Guest stars on the recording included Hamilton Blues vet, Jack de Keyzer and Milton' own Mike "Shrimp Daddy" Reid.

The rest of the awards were handed out during a televised ceremony on July 11, 2020.

        CONGRATS! Hamilton-Born Ben Caplan Wins Songwriter of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards

        Hamilton-born musician Ben Caplan is making quite a habit of winning The East Coast Music AwardsOn April 27, he earned another one  - this time for Songwriter of the Year.

        Here is what he had to say on social media: "Wow! I am honoured to have just won the East Coast Music Association (ECMA) Award for Songwriter of the Year! I am grateful for this recognition from my community! Thank you!"
