GOOD LUCK! Lots of Local 2018 Juno Nominees!


There are a ton of local nominees at this year's Juno Awards. We are all proud of our are musicians.

Just in Hamilton alsone, we have the Arkells (3 nods + 1 for their producer), Steve Strongman (Blues Album of the Year), Terra Lightfoot (2 +1 for her engineer), Whitehorse (1 + 1 for their engineer), Brad Cheeseman (Jazz Album of the Year, Solo), David Braid (Jazz Album of the Year, Group) and Iskwé (Indigenous Music Album of the Year). Also, Waterdown's True North Records released two nominated albums by Bruce Cockburn and Buffy Sainte-Marie.

As for Burlington, there's Walk Off The Earth (Fan's Choice). Also, Bruno Mars24K Magican album Engineered by Charles Moniz is in the running for International Album of the Year. He recently won a Grammy for his work.

CONGRATS! Burlington Engineer Charles Moniz Wins 3rd Grammy! + Canadian Winners


Burlington Engineer Charles Moniz made his hometown (and all of Canada) proud when picked up his 3rd Grammy (this latest one for Best Engineered Album - on-classical) on Sunday January 28.  His work on superstar Bruno Mars' newest album 24K Magic has been getting a lot of notice as of late.
