The Shakers Sound is Unmistakable on Long-Awaited EP

It's been about 40 years since Hamilton's legendary group, the Shakers released an album of new material. With their spanking new EP, Left for Alive, it's like they never took a break.

The four original members (Rick Andrew, Claude DesRoches, Dave Rave and Tim Gibbons) deliver that unmistakable Shakers sound of no-nonsense early rock. Instruments are all amped up and the vocals are powerful.

Also, the great Steve Beach lends his incredible keyboardist skills to the mix.

Copies of the CD/Vinyl can be purchased at their live shows or through their website.

Wow 🥺

Keep on Rollin because you were absolutely, Simply The Best.

Man. Tina Turner. My heart is heavy to know she is no longer earthside. I never got the chance to see her live but she has been the single biggest influence for me musically, vocally and performance wise. I binge watch live footage regularly just hoping to feel the magic that was the Queen of Rock & Roll. RIP Tina - shine on.

New Album from Hamilton's Tim Gibbons and the Swampbusters Will Get Your Juices Flowin'

Boogalator, the newest kick-ass recording from Tim Gibbons and the Swampbusters should come with a warning: "Keep out of reach of bland, over-produced albums". It's so tough 'n' gritty, it'll send namby-pamby CDs crying home to mommy.

With the usual Swampbusters take no prisoners approach, Boogalator hooks you in with swampy, bluesy grooves and Tim's unmistakable vocals. Filled with rough and tumble numbers, as well as some funky and jazzy moments, it'll get your juices flowin'.

You can pick up a CD at any of Tim's unforgettable live shows. You can also pick it up at Dr. Disc in Hamilton.
